In this course learning about the strategies that useful to read in English such as
Skimming 
Scanning
Guessing meaning from context 
and Previewing.

Professor reprehend when we talk loudly.

week 14
Classic Ann Landers.

Today,Professor gave our works "Healthy Diet" back to us 
and let us about Biography of Ann Landers.

After,professor opened the Cambridge dictionary
about pronunciation and meaning of its.

I read and try to do it by myself and checked the answer 
with my friends after I have finished. 
After finishing, teacher gave us corrective feedback 
and explained us each text mean.
We have to answer each question about 
-What’s her advice?  
-What’s the problem?  
-Why did they write the letter to Ann?

After, Professor told us to work in group of three people.
and we shared our opinion to friends.

Today,I used reading faster, scanning and skimming

week 13
Paragraph reading strategies

Professor let us did exercises 2 and 3
and answers each question on sheet.
and opened Dictionary Cambridge

After, asked us to write summary of each paragraph and wrote it on the board
We worked in group.

I used the skimming skill.

Skimming Tips

1.Read the table of contents or chapter overview to learn the main divisions of ideas.
2.Glance through the main headings in each chapter just to see a word or two.
   Read the headings of charts and tables.
3.Read the entire introductory paragraph and then the first and last sentence only
   of each following paragraph. For each paragraph, read only the first few words
   of each sentence or to locate the main idea.
4.Stop and quickly read the sentences containing keywords indicated in boldface
   or italics.
5.When you think you have found something significant, stop to read the entire
   sentence to make sure. Then go on the same way. Resist the temptation to stop
   to read details you don't need.
6.Read chapter summaries when provided.
